Content is KING

In the digital world we live in everyone is trying to make content that elevates their brand. From the TikTok voiceovers to the crazy transitions everyone is trying to navigate in their own way (I still can’t figure out the throw the shoe up in the air thing) . The beauty of instagram debuting reels and really pushing them is a spark of videography. I am now looking at my work beyond still photographs but the full story of the session or even my day around it. Documenting the process has been stepped up like 30 levels. A lot of people fail when they over think the content their putting out and how everyone is going to perceive it.

My advice to all biz owners that don’t have a background in creating but just need to put things out:

  1. Stay in your lane: Outsource this job if you can.

  2. Minimal is cool: I promise you don’t have to do a lot to make your story clear. Lighting + a good vibe goes a long way

  3. What’s the point: Please take a second to think about who you’re speaking to and what you want them to get from it.

I love that reels are 15-30 seconds because it forces you to be clear and upfront from the start.

  4. More is better: Shoot more so that you don’t regret anything later. Try it all and 30 million different ways.
